Our Mission
Our Mission
We are a volunteer run cloth (reusable) nappy library servicing the Leicester(shire) area, promoting the use of cloth based baby items such as nappies and wipes. We offer the hire of trial kits to those interested in trying different kinds of cloth nappies before committing to a purchase of their own and support clients during the hire period and beyond.
We are currently applying for grants to increase the size and reach of our library. We are very grateful to DMU Local and the Leicester City Council Community Ward Funding for providing us with funding to buy new nappies for the library. If you would like to sponsor us please let us know in the form on the About Us page.

Our logo states "Cloth Nappy, Earth Happy" as cloth nappies are much better for the environment than disposable nappies. But they have other benefits too!
Cloth nappies can reduce occurrance of nappy rash and thrush
Cloth nappies can help reduce potty training times
Cloth nappies come in super cute prints and can be co-ordinated with your baby's outfits
And... cloth nappies can help you save money in the long run compared with disposable nappies!

We offer a variety of different hire options including
Birth to potty kits (suitable for babies over 10lbs)
Our Birth to Potty Kit is designed to allow users to experience cloth for themselves, receive support from us during and beyond the hire period, and get a sense of what nappies work for them and their baby prior to purchasing their own. Everyone who hires from us are provided exclusive discount codes from many retailers offering discounts on their purchases.
Newborn kits
The newborn kit is hired for a longer period and is intended to fit baby when they are still too small for 'Birth to potty' nappies (which often start at 8lbs-10lbs).
Flats and wraps kits
A smaller kit comprised of flat nappies and wraps only
Night nappy kits
Nappies for use at night
Mini kit
A pared down version of our birth to potty kits- a taster kit you could say
Long term loan basic kit
We also have a further kit we offer, at no charge, for foster parents and those with any other needs for whom the other two kits might not be suitable. Please do get in touch if you would like to hire this kit.
